The 9th Family Bicicarnaval and 31st Tour de Inocentes brought families and communities in Pasto together for a day of active mobility, recreation, culture, and community connection. The Youth Human Rights Network, in coordination with the Municipality of Pasto and the institutions involved in the event, supported this initiative, using cycling as a way to enjoy the city while promoting healthier and more sustainable lifestyles.
The approximately 15-kilometre route, starting at Plaza del Carnaval, took place as part of the city’s Car-Free and Motorcycle-Free Day, encouraging active mobility and environmental care. Beyond physical activity, the event created a space for family and community interaction, connecting Pasto’s cultural identity with sustainable mobility.
